Which Decade Is It Anyway?
Squamous Eddie is a band of friends and studio musicians recording the music of Christopher Conti. Christopher Conti writes all the material, both music and lyrics, then records a 'practice demo' in his studio in which he plays all the instruments and sings all of the parts. The demo is then sent to his producer/friend Randy Crafton of kaleidoscope Studios outside of Jersey City, N.J. Chris and Randy have been friends since the age of 7 where they learned music practicing drums (Randy) and Piano at Randy's house in upstate New York. Randy took the music road as a carreer, owning and running kaleidoscope studios and recording musicians such a Richie Havens, Walter Parks, and Dayna Kurtz, while Chris took the medical road using music and art as an outlet to his medical career. Randy listens to the songs and makes suggestions of which musicians will be best for the different genres of music. Walter Parks (vocals, guitars), Danya Kurtz (Vocals), Randy Crafton (Drums and percussion), Rene Cologne (Vocals and Orchestral arrangements), and Sean Harkness (Guitars), along with Christopher Conti (Keyboards, some rhythm guitar, some bass, and vocals) are the main members of the band with many other guest stars who add a whole new dimension to the Squamous Eddie sound. Most of the CD is recorded at kaleidoscope, where the aforementioned musicians meet, then Chris does most of his parts in his own studio and imports them into the final mix. Chris and Randy then mix the CD, get it mastered, and the artwork for the CD is done by Walter Parks (Musician, Photographer, and graphic designer), then the CD is then ready for listening!
