Biography Singer/Actress, Stephanie St.Clair was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in Vineland, NJ. Stephanie began performing at age 2, as she danced and sang in front of her living room curtains for her parents and family members. Her taste in music was varied thanks to her parents who loved Motown & Top 40 and her grandparents who favored country and Italian music. Stephanie's musical family - her mother a singer, her grandmother a self-taught piano player and her grandfather a harmonic player - influenced her greatly. A highlight of her artistic career was when she was selected from thousands of contestants nationwide as a finalist on the Live with Regis and Kelly Show's American Co-Host Search. As a finalist, she appeared on the show for one week performing in various contests, which included interviewing actor Colin Farrell before a live national television audience and host chat with Regis. Then, just days after being selected as a finalist on the "Live Show," Stephanie and her husband were filled with joy to learn that Stephanie was pregnant with their first child. For some artists a pregnancy might signal a pause in their careers, but for Stephanie it signaled the opportunity to try her hand at something she had never considered: professional modeling. She signed with New York City-based Expecting Models, the premier talent agency for pregnant models and since her pregnancy and the birth of her daughter, Maria Angelina, mother and daughter have been featured in magazines and advertisements for Babies R Us, Parenting, BabyTalk, American Baby, Fisher Price, Belly Basics, Liz Lange, Snuggle Nest and Graco. She has performed alongside world-renowned Italian opera singer, Mario Bertolino and was invited on separate occasions to perform for His Eminence Theodore Cardinal McCarrick as well as His Eminence Edward Cardinal Egan. She was then selected by the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL) to perform the national anthem for the team's home games during the 2005-2006 season. Last summer Stephanie had the privilege of performing the national anthem at Madison Square Garden 'The World's Most Famous Arena,' for the NY/NJ Liberty of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). One day by chance Stephanie listened to an album by Catholic Recording Artist "Angela" and was touched by the spirituality and uplifting message of her music. Feeling inspired by God, Stephanie sought out music veteran, songwriter and producer Bob Halligan Jr. for assistance in producing faith based, inspiring music with a fresh sound that would appeal to listeners of all ages but especially young people. A few months later, they were in the studio collaborating together with the well known rock band "Ceili Rain" on what would become her first EP solo album of inspirational songs. Touched by the work of some writers as well as her personal experience a few years prior at the World Youth Day in Toronto, Canada, Stephanie poured her heart and soul into this demo. Stephanie's debut EP album Differently is inspired by her faith and is sure to warm the hearts of many through her sweet, honest sound and dynamic personality. Artists such as Judy Garland, Celine Dion, Jaci Velasquez, Norah Jones and Laura Pausini have all inspired her. "It took me a while to see concretely my life and just like anyone, I've had some low points. As a young person I made some decisions, which weren't always the best, but now I see that this life has always been and continues to be in God's hands. My dream is to be an artist and great songwriter, but in the end, I know it's ultimately not up to me,' says Stephanie. 'My life is in my maker's hands and I continually seek his guidance. I feel very blessed and I look forward to the mission he has called me to.'
