More Than Amazing
At a young age, Stephanie had a profound drawing to music that she has and will carry with her through out her life. Coming from a very large family of musicians, it was always her dream to follow in the same footsteps. As a young child, Stephanie would sing in churches with her siblings and mother, while her father would play the guitar or piano. She would sing in church choirs and talent shows and at the age of 11, Stephanie had her first studio experience. In high school is when she realized that she was called to use her talent for the Lord. While she sang in her academy's chorale, she learned several vocal techniques and had the opportunity of meeting other singers and tour with the chorale. She again had the opportunity to go back to the studio and record background vocals for her mother's debut album. During her first year of college, Stephanie wanted to further her music career, but the pressures of being a student overshadowed her dream to continue singing. In early 2007, Stephanie met one of her producers, Lenny Salcedo, and while singing randomly and having conversations of how she felt that when she sang for the Lord it made her feel at peace, he told her that he liked her voice and wanted to record. That summer, Stephanie traveled to the Dominican Republic where she recorded her up and coming bilingual debut album titled "More Than Amazing/ Mas Que Maravilloso". While in the Dominican Republic, Stephanie met up with producers, Lenny and his partner, Juan Pablo Aquino. She had the opportunity of meeting several Christian artists, some of which whom were recording their albums and other very experienced artist that gave her advice. Stephanie has dedicated her voice to the Lord and has realized that her voice, along with the making of this album, is for God's purpose.
