Along the Path
'I am a practicing hypnotherapist and use tracks 1,2,5 and 8 with my clients. They love it! When not using this CD for work, it's great just to mellow out with. My mom has her own copy and love it,too! Sorry, I'm not a music expert, so I can't talk to you about the rhythm or chords or use any technical terms. I just know what I like and this CD is great! ' -Catherine Moore, TX. 'Finding the right music is so important in my line of work and is always difficult. 'Along the Path' is definitely perfect!' -Christine Stevenson,RN,LMP and nationally certified massage therapist in Boston About the artist: Steven Seydler was born in NY in the winter of 1970. He's a multi-instrumentalist who has been lucky enough to have had disciplined training from many sources including the Berklee School of Music in Boston and a multitude of mentors including world-class teacher Charlie Banacos, who taught notable jazz greats such as Mike Stern. During Steven's college years he knew something was missing. It was during these years he experimented with his spiritual side and sank his heart and life into the art of meditation. This had profound influence on his musical vision and expression. Amidst his spiritual quest, he began to integrate back into the professional music scene which led to his first major tour with Jorge Ferreira, a Portuguese artist with plenty of gold and platinum albums under his belt. Steven spent two years (behind the keyboards) with Jorge including a summer on Portugal's beautiful mountaintops, sometimes playing for as many as 30,000 people. Taking in the sites and sounds of Europe, South America and even Australia has shaped his music today. While touring was exciting, the pull to integrate both his meditation life and his musical life culminated in the recording of 'Along the Path', an album that since it's release in 1998 has found it's way into the hands of many Yoga teachers and message therapists. Tracks from Along the Path are also currently playing on 'The Wellness Connection' the San Antonio Texas based television show. Since then, Steven has been expanding his horizons through Stints in jazz, country, rock n' roll, blues groups and more. He spent a lot of time on tour with the multi-hit group Tavares who recorded songs such as 'Penny for your thoughts' and 'Heaven Must Be Missing an Angel. While his talents have allowed him to play within these styles, Steven has sure footedly developed his own sonic stamp and expressions that can easily be heard though out all of his compositions.
