Ten Ways to Euthanize a Fish
Sudden Blunt Trauma was a one-man recording project that evolved into a working band. Chris Riley (nicknamed BC) created and produced their first record Ten Way's To Euthanize A Fish with the help of long time friend Collin Lemons. Now a trio, Chris fills the role of rhythm guitar and lead vocals backed by Collin Lemons on drums. Added to the mix is Chris's brother, Tim Riley, on bass. The native Kansas City area musicians have been involved in many projects and groups over the last decade. Spanning many genres from blue grass to heavy metal, this band is extremely versatile. SBT always keeps the audience on their toes with various types of opening acts to occasional cover songs taken from all eras of music. Their debut album Ten Ways to Euthanize a Fish is a sardonic perspective on society, relationships, and life in general. Full, aggressive guitar tracks and relentless drumbeats back straightforward vocals containing witty, well thought out verses. Songs express a broad overview of moments in time, past, present and future.
