Product Notes

Biography Switchboard is an independent,original,indie-punk band out of Saint Paul,MN.This midwest trio generates a gritty and raw sound that seems strangely familiar, yet completely fresh and new.The true foundation of the band lies in their straightforward songwriting that crosses the lines of punk, indie and alternative genres.Switchboard has been labeled as a marriage of Social Distortion,Jawbreaker,Rancid,Hot Water Music and Nirvana. While these labels may apply to some extent, the bands original approach leaves them difficult to classify. Switchboard was formed in the spring of 2003 and consists of Paul McNamee (guitar/vocals),Aaron Lemay (drums)and Brad Bremer (bass). After Playing for many friends and countless parties, the band decided to record a two song demo.Following that,Switchboard has had the opportunity to play many of the twin city mainstay venues as well as a few in the outlying suburbs.By early summer of 2004,the band was in the studio to record the five song 'Anxiety Ep' Ending on that note,Switchboard's main mission is to create high energy, original music,to rock as many people as possible and to have fun doing it. Paul McNamee (guitar/vocals) Brad Bremer (bass) Aaron Lemay (drums)
