The Syracuse Gay & Lesbian Chorus, Inc. (aka SGLC) is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization, founded July 25, 1991, to provide a safe and affirming environment for people who identify as gay, lesbian, bi-sexual and transgendered, with a passion for vocal performance arts and a desire to present a positive image of the G.L.B.T. population within the Syracuse-metro community. Since the first Holiday concert in 1991, SGLC has continued to present two full-length concerts each year, staged a production of '10% Revue', produced two CDs, commissioned two original works, performed at the GALA Choral Festival VII (Montreal, 2004) and VIII (Miami, 2008), hosted several Cabaret nights, and supported the Syracuse-metro community (both gay & straight) through numerous outreach and special event appearances. The seasonal selections presented herein, were recorded on March 3, 2007, for the explicit purpose of making this CD, as a fundraiser project. 100% of the funds raised from the on-going sale of this CD will be used to continue our community outreach programs. We hope you enjoy our music and we greatly appreciate your support.
