T.X.P. (Triple X Playaz) 1994 was a defining year for an upcoming song writers and musicians Mac J and M. Brando. Experimenting with music production since 1994, Mac J learned to utilize his music influences from Earth, Wind & Fire, Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, New Edition, to N.W.A., Too Short and R.B.L. Posse. Mac J soon teamed up with high school friend M. Brando who by that time had already recorded and released an independent group album. M. Brando had previously known rap artist Killa Kevin from elementary school and unexpectedly cross paths and discovered they had something else in common... Music! Killa Kevin at the time had a recording studio and invited M. Brando for a recording session. M. Brando extended the invite to Mac J hence forth Triple X Playaz, established 1998. Since then, T.X.P.'s path lead to love, pain, happiness, depression, triumph, friends, enemies, life, death and MUSIC. From one of the worlds main attractions, San Francisco, California comes a vibrant, energetic and dynamic group; the Triple X Playaz. T.X.P. has been a part of the Bay Area's underground music scene for 9 years. From their beginning in 1998, the Triple X Playaz have released several independent albums which have unofficially sold over 5,000+ units. T.X.P. has continuously grown mentally, lyrically, spiritually as well as expanding their fan base believing in what they love to do most... Producing music and rocking a crowd. T.X.P. has overcome all obstacles in pursuit to their dreams and is now ready to take the next step to reach higher tiers with latest full length album, The Beat Cellar presents... T.X.P. 'My Game's On' which is opt to be the most prominent full length music CD T.X.P. will release to date... From urban hits like 'My Game's On' and 'Get 'Em Up' to club bangers such as 'Tyra' and 'Let's Get Hyphy', T.X.P. is shooting from all angles and efforts to making a well rounded classic album. In this album, the streets meet R&B, the grown and classy get a taste of Triple X Playarism at it's climax, mixed with a dose of religion and the everyday life of a Triple X Playa. These are just some of the themes you can expect from their latest project 'My Game's On'. T.X.P. is an independent and organized Hip-Hop/Rap group consisting of music producer Mac J A.K.A. 'J The Producer', rap artist & engineer M Dot Brando & rap artist Killa Kevin who have since then created a brotherly bond. T.X.P. is a diverse and highly-motivated group in which sets them apart from other groups in the industry. They have proven and shown that they can astound a crowd and at the same time draw a diverse following as they have a combined heritage consisting of Filipino, European, Mexican, and African American backgrounds. T.X.P. is on a mission to become the most unique hip-hop/rap group ever to come out of the California .
