Punk rock has always had the predilection for DIY (Do-It-Yourself) and that has surely been some what of a trade mark for the cult band Terror Pop. The band was founded 25 years ago (!!!), and have since the start released numerous of demos, singles, compilations, CD: s and videos (the video 'Do it' was shown on MTV and the video 'Floatin' Down The Stream' on Swedish national tv.) Terror Pop has toured both abroad (Denmark, Germany, Chech Republic) and around their home country of Sweden, where the biggest crowd counted over 15.000 people at a concert in Halmstad. They have never really had any record contract, even if there has been opportunities. Most of the time it has failed when the companies have had demands on forming the band, like 'sing in Swedish, get a female band member' and stuff like that. Musicaly Terror Pop have never excepted to be labeled any special category or style. In 1996 they did how ever collaborate with two Swedish companies (Kommunikation and EMA Telstar) as they released the album 'three' on their own label United Flesh Records. On the album 'Freak Out' (released june 2004) they have turned back more to their roots, which is even more emphasized live, being the true element of Terror Pop, where they transform into a howling, roaring, rock'n roll mean machine. As a twelveth and extra multimedia track on 'Freak Out', you can also enjoy the new video 'Wonderful' - that alone worth buying the album.
