Where It Belongs
TriStone Records flagship recording artist - Tess Reyes' debut full CD project is finally complete! Featuring 11 of Tess' own original songs and one classic cover tune, the new album - "Where it Belongs" is sure to have something for everyone. From the Rock-inspired "Can't Take this any Longer" to the traditional country flavor of "I Won't Be Crying", and later to the almost urban-like rhythms of "Life so Wonderful" and "Time to Celebrate, this is definitely not a one-sound album. Tess' songs, vocal tones and unique singing style attempt to convey a wide range of emotions in this CD, and will definitely give you a tug at your heartstrings. Recorded at Karian Studios in Nashville, Tennessee, and produced by the one of the industry's most well-respected producers - Ian D'Souza, Tess' new album 'Where it Belongs' showcases a unique, none cookie-cutter sound, and is guaranteed to be a favorite in anyone's music library. Like most people, Tess grew up with lots of exposure to all kinds of music. Influenced by family and friends, she learned to listen to all music genres, most especially country music. As Tess grew older, she became known as the "Little Lady with a big voice". She participated in a lot of musical events at school, like Broadway-type productions and choruses. While in high school, Tess also became involved with a female singing group. They performed famous songs of their time and even some originals. This was Tess' first major experience in songwriting, which helped her blossom into the singer/songwriter she is today. Tess plays guitar, mandolin, fluke (similar to ukulele) and some keyboards. This variety of instruments aid her as she writes songs that lean toward a country/pop style.
