Waiting for the Light
A spiritual; soulful; passionate; often driving - new album from Tim Bragg. Featuring Jules Reason on lead & rhythm guitar; Leburn Maddox lead & rhythm on 'Rules'; Phil Knight lead & Rhythm on 'A Rainbow in my Heart'; David Vaughan saxophone; Gordon Woodcock harmonica; Gerald Maguire acoustic guitar; Anne Smith backing vocals & Tim on drums, bass, keyboard, guitars (lead & Rhythm), vocals and percussion. THIS ALBUM IS AN UPLIFTING ANTIDOTE TO CONTEMPORARY WOES! By far the best recorded and performed collection of songs so far from Tim. Mastered by Chris Hardcastle at Arena, Sound & Vision. If you have any problems ordering this album please email me: firstname.lastname@example.org Only a few seconds into the first track, it becomes very clear that this CD has a much more professional sound quality than the previous Tim Bragg releases. Opener 'Have You Seen Her?' is punchy straight ahead rock, with some fine guitar work from Jules Reason, who plays on a further five tracks. 'Hush Now' has an interesting perspective on nightmares, and 'You Know It's Lyin' 'and 'Thunder and Lightning' take the tempo down. Aside from 'A Rainbow In My Heart' - a pleasant middle of the road pop with a surprise appearance from Phil Knight on guitar, and the doo-wop flavoured 'She's Gone Crazy', the formula is high quality accessible pop/rock songs with an upbeat and positive message which, given enough exposure ought to reach a far wider audience. The CD cover and inlay feature some very impressive photography, including a rare close up of Mr. Bragg himself! - GS Listened to your CD on way home, Very impressed with what we heared, not managed to play it since as **** nicked it!! Both agreed it was best so far, with some great Harp, Sax & Guitar pieces.....Really did sound a bit 'special' - AM Really like the new CD, excellent performances, mixing/production - it's a big jump in terms of quality generally.. -TG I have this CD in the car [and listen] everyday...some strong songs on there. 3 or 4 really good ones! [There's] good singing and drums [and] production. I like it a lot and have played it to friends here [in Spain]. They all like it. -GM.
