Triumph of Grace
Bio: Tim Cason Tim Cason lives in Kirksville, Missouri with his wife Cyndie and son Timothy. Tim enjoys playing and singing whenever he gets the opportunity. He frequently provides music for local groups at banquets and special occasions. He sings with a southern gospel quartet called "Renewed". Tim also gives private lessons in guitar, piano, voice, and saxophone. Tim enjoys composing and arranging music which is demonstrated in his instrumental CD, Triumph of Grace. He has also just released a Christmas CD called Who Is This Child. The title track is an original song written for his son! Tim's goal is to share the gospel through song with all who are willing to listen. God has used his music to open doors for him to speak with all sorts of people about the Lord. Tim was raised in the small town of Glasgow, Missouri, where his family taught him to appreciate all people as his neighbors. Tim has had music in his head since he was a small boy. He began playing saxophone in the fifth grade. Tim came to know the Lord Jesus Christ at the end of his last year in high school. He was mentored by some wonderful Christian teachers in Glasgow. While attending college at Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State), he studied foreign language, math, and music. During that time his faith was stretched in many ways, and he met many friends still dear to him today. He worships with believers at Lake Road Chapel in Kirksville. Some people say Tim's saxophone music reminds them of Kenny G. Tim is a natural composer, in fact he only learned to play the piano so he could play the music he was already writing. He's been hearing full orchestras in his head since he was a child, and says that music is the best way he has to express himself.
