Este Es Mi Mundo
Titan learned to appreciate the art of music in his hometown, Gurabo, Puerto Rico. Titan's influences come from the original hip-hop, old school salsa and reggae artists. Listening to artists like KRS ONE, Grandmaster Flash, Rakeem, Afrika Banbata, Zulu Nation, Public Enemy, Nas, Buju Banton, Bob Marley, Bounty Killer, Ruben Blades, Hector Lavoe, Willie Colon, he has taken hip-hop Spanish to another level. His lyrics will deliver an impact in the latino community. His influences as a writer come from the struggles he witnessed while growing up in the inner city of Hartford, Connecticut. Attending Central Connecticut State University, Titan had an opportunity to examine the world that he lived in. In his music, one can hear the knowledge and experience of those that came before him and thus creating his own style. Through his music, Titan hopes that people will hear the message brought forth from our ancestors. The last four years were of patience and perseverance. Thus came the creation of his first album, Este Es Mi Mundo (This is My World). Originality and uniqueness are the principles he follows to open the way for him.
