You Can Make It
Born and raised in the Washington DC area, TL has always had a love for music. Growing up in the church singing has always been a part of her life. At the age of 10 she began to take piano lessons on and off until the age of 13. It was under the leadership of Bishop John Paul James and the National Cathedral of Christ that TL took her music ministry farther. She became the Chief Musician then Minister of Music. TL has worked with a number of gifted musicians and singers. Currently she is a student at the University of the District of Columbia studying for her degree in Vocal and Gospel Music studies. TL has had the opportunity to perform with the UDC chorale under the direction of William Jones and The Voices under Gerry Gillespie. Her musical influences include Twinkie Clark-Terrell, Kim Burrell and Dorinda Clark-Cole just to name a few. TL say's, 'My goal is to encourage as many people as I can through this gift of music God has given to me vocally and instrumental'.
