Valle Del Sol
Valle Del Sol is Spanish for Valley of The Sun, depicted by the photo on the album cover taken by Tom Baker from a ledge in Monument Valley. The desert southwest, a region steeped in tradition and folklore and one of the few places not yet spoiled by man. 'The orchestrations melt your thoughts away' is one comment in the Ohio Musician Magazine. After two backpacking trips in Arizona and Utah Tom said, 'I have hiked it, photographed it and finally had to do an album about it, the music just gushed out'. Many of the songs have a movie soundtrack feel, since they were created from images rather than ideas. The American Indian is in our thoughts in several of the tracks, adding to the power of this rich and extraordinary music. Turn the clock back, a hundred years or more and place youself in the arid desert region of the USA and Mexico. Then turn your imagination loose for an hour, we create the music, you create the visions! Valle Del Sol is now in Borders Books & Music stores in 36 states, one store put it on the listening station and it sold out in two days! The album has a soothing sound of guitars, flutes and drums with an orchestral backing. Very relaxing, you'll love it. This album has been added to the JMK Productions national catalog of soothing and spiritual music. Valley Del Sol wins the Global Resource Music Award, December, 2000, in Universal City, CA.
