Product Notes

Check it out- Over 30 years of musical experience ranging from jazz/funk- rock/blues-to folk/country. Tommy has been writing, recording, and jamming with a wide variety of musicians over the years. From fronting the group Magic in the 80's to sitting in with Heartsfield at the 2006 New Years Eve reunion. The 2004 Idea's show opened for the Werewolves featuring Jimmy Dillon and Chuck Level at Harborfest in South Haven. Summer of '05 saw a repeat of Harborfest but this time as Jay Webber's sax man. Then Taste of Chicago with Joe Joe Murphy. He really cuts loose when hooking up with Frank and Joyce Walker and the Outcast Blues band. Watch out if Ray "killer" Allison is on guitar. The Idea's CD is mainly a solo effort with guest appearances by JC Hartsfield, Charles Fritsche, and Scott Leist on guitars, with Gilbert Watkins, Brandon Silverlight, and Andy Steudle on drums. Tom's big brother Brady Rusin of The Heroes adds bass and vocals on Ask Mr. Fudd, and Darrell "skeet" Mosley throws the high vocal on Caught. Tom Gevings added the keyboard horns and mixed Caught otherwise Tom does his own engineering and producing in his studio. He has a vast library of songs and CD baby is giving him the vehicle to get them heard.
