John Tomson and Don Parish have been friends and music collaborators for over 30 years. Even though they share common interests, their life paths have followed radically different and varied directions. Both grew up in the San Diego area, John joined the Navy out of High School and served in Viet Nam where he was decorated with the Navy Achievement medal. John a self-taught musician got his first gig while still in the Navy. Returning to civilian life, he used the Electronics training from the service to enter into Specialty Systems engineering. Shortly there after John started his own Corporation and became a successful Systems contractor; JT Specialty Systems, Inc. Which is still going strong. John met Don while Don was playing music in San Diego and became friends and musical partners. Don a classically trained musician, started his professional musical career after graduating from college. He has traveled extensively with many name bands and has had several recording contracts. The last few years Don has taught High School in the San Diego area. John and Don decided to bring their music back to the public with the PainKiller Club CD. Thanks to the encouragement of Charles Tobias, they have written and produced a CD with original music. John and Don hope you enjoy the music and again want to thank PUSSER'S RUM® and staff for all their support.
