God wants you and I to live at peace and in victory as we live out life. All the street nonsense and TV entertainment hype that you and I both know sets us back from our dreams I say, ' has to be squashed' because I know that there is a better life for us. And there is, because I'm now living it! Listen to my song "Get It'; It's what I'm explaining now in raw form! The title of the album 'Brownville' is taken from the name Too 'Brown' it's stating to come see the inside of my Life as I trust God day to day. We all know every day brings it's own challenges, but it's in Christ game plan that we can live to see another day of Victory! Questions for Too Brown: Q: Too Brown if you're a Christian Rapper why does your album have a Parental Advisory label? A: Haha! The Parental Advisory label doesn't say "Explicit Lyrics' it actually says 'Bangn Lyrics'. Something we did humorously! For those of you who don't know what 'Bangn' means it is a meaning for words like, ' Fresh, Awesome, Loud' So parents who have kids under 18 get ready for some Fresh, Awesome, Loud Jesus music that's going to make your car shake and speakers go thump and set your tweens in the right direction! Laughing! God is Good! Q: How did you get into Christian Rap Music? A: Well for one, it was part of my culture and time I grew up in. Kids at school would have Beat Box and Free Style contest on the school yard and I was fascinated by it. My parents started a church back in 1991 in Corpus Christi, Texas and invited a Christian Rapper fresh on the scene, whom is now seen as one of Christian Raps pioneers, named E-Rock for an outreach to the community. The Boy was explosive with His skills, dance and performance and I was like, 'That's me'! Soon after we met E-Rock his camp manager let me open up for him at different shows and "Too Brown" was born!! So much props to my Jesus Bro E- Rock for promoting the Gospel through such Art form!! Q: When is your next album going to be released? A: Glad you asked! It's in the works now! I'm excited about the new dub step electronic type sound we will be using! I didn't want to record another album less I was really vibing to the sounds. I will be recording out of Austin with T-Flo Productions. T-Flo sent me one of his sound catalogs and I was like, "Pow" I'm loving this Kats sounds! He has years of experience with working in the genre of Rap/Hip Hop Music. We will be leaking a song here in the near future! Glory to God!! Want to have Too Brown at your next outreach event?
