Man to Drive
Tracey Caruso was born in Florida and grew up in the Heartland of America. After high school in Southeast Missouri, she attended college back in Florida where she discovered, much to the surprise of her family and friends, that she LOVED to sing...in the shower, in her car, in sorority skits and college and church choirs. But not until Tracey moved to Southwest Florida did she have the courage to belt it out on stage as a lead performer in public. It started in church where she was asked if she'd be interested in helping form an 11-piece horn band. Tracey became the lead vocalist for that band named Alter Ego and a singer was born! Tracey met producer Steve Melton of Muscle Shoals, Alabama and was privileged to have Steve produce her debut country album, "Man To Drive" in Nashville, Tennessee. It was a dream come true for Tracey to work with the likes of Owen Hale, Larry Byrom, Dan Dugmore, Joe Spivey and Randy McCormick, who have all worked as A-list Nashville session musicians for decades with many of country music's biggest recording artists. The original songs on Tracey's album "Man To Drive" are well-written, modern tunes that will speak to all who enjoy quality music, great grooves and a strong, sincere, unmistakable voice!
