New Song for New Season
Tremaine is the son of The Reverend Willie and Minister Phyllis Graham, Durham, NC. Tremaine graduated from the Durham (North Carolina) School of the Arts with honors in music. He is a trained vocalist and yet music is not just an academic pursuit for him. He sees music as a ministry, an opportunity to be of service to the church and the Christian community. As far back as Tremaine's family can remember; there has never been a day in his life that singing was not a part. When he was two-years old, a professor at Duke University heard him singing in the grocery store and wanted to enroll him in a music program that she was conducting at the University. However his parents thought he was entirely too young. After many years of singing solo, Tremaine wanted to form his own group and to his much surprise, the Lord had already placed people in his midst, people that he grew up with; became his group. In January of 2003, Tremaine Graham & Exodus was formed with members consisting of his family members and friends. As a solo artist, Tremaine has performed as lead vocalist at the Gospel Music Workshop of America in Minneapolis, MN and also the Thomas A. Dorsey Regional Workshop in Hinesville, GA. He has had other opportunities to record on two CD projects with two local choirs in Durham, North Carolina: Abundant Blessing Chorale and the Durham Community Choir. He just recorded his first CD project with Tremaine Graham & Exodus, which was released in April, 2006. Tremaine is a gifted and talented song writer in which he has written over 50 songs. His voice has been heard throughout North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, Minnesota, Washington, DC, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Kansas City, Jamaica and Turks and Caicos Island in the Grand Bahamas.
