After seeing a shooting star on New Year\'s Day of 2008, Trent Gentry vowed to make it the year to record his first album. Recorded over four days at Aerie Studio in Austin, TX, Gentry and engineer/producer Mark Addison spun out a web of dreamy, delicious songs. The album\'s title refers to each individual song, including the acoustic title track. Gentry explores everything from heartbreak to the more serious topic of homophobia in \'Brother, Brother\'. The album was made primarily with Trent\'s close friends with cellist Mollie Fischer laying down exquisite solos. What really makes this debut effort stand apart from the rest is the voice that Gentry has found as a 22 year old. One with soul, experience, wear, and tear.
