Trio Primaveral was formed in 1995: Isabel Cobos and the Amigos brothers, Victor and Jose sing with energy and passion. Several genres typical of the soulful music of this beautiful country are represented. Included are several love songs by Ecudorian, Argentinia and Colombian poets and songwriter, a bolero and a 'party song' called 'El Malcito.' The last cut is a pasillo which has a blues-like, traditional quality. When Gerando Guevara of Quito heard his song 'Se Va Con Algo Mio' sung by the trio he called it 'the best interpretation I have ever heard of my music.'
