Don't Ever Stop Dreamin
Two Dead Lizzards is an album with a lot of emotion and feeling, with true and fictional stories that most everyone can relate to in their own experience. Each song has a different flavor. There's always something new and unexpected going on which makes the sounds so unique. Leif Johnsen writes and produces these songs and has always had a passion for sound-on-sound recordings. He learned to play all instruments in order to complete fully orchestrated songs, with lead and back-up vocals as well. He has played with icon recording artists Paul Robey of The Platters, Johnny Lyles Jr. of the Coasters, and roadied with Joe Walsh of the Eagles. In addition he has toured with his own groups from Miami to S. Cal, with audiences from little town taverns to sold out stadium concerts. You may have heard of the song 'Lost Without You' which debuted on S. Florida radio stations in the mid-nineties. Leif wrote and produced this meaningful melody. He's been following and influenced by Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, Don Henley of the Eagles, Match Box Twenty, Puddle of Mud and TRAIN. Duane Atchison plays lead guitar on most of the selections. He's been influenced by the Allman Brothers Band, CSNY and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. He brings a vibrant style and enthusiasm that gives the songs a fascinating new personality and depth. If you like new, different, and commercial sounding songs with a splash of taste, you'll love Two Dead Lizzards!
