After the release of their first album, Habit, Two Lane Road took their sound in an entirely new direction. From the acoustic guitar, congo style comes a much more mature sound. The band has been described as dark, melodic and shimmering. Drawing from a wide variety of influences, the band has created this new collection of songs as a preview to future releases in this same voice. Embodying the best of NY indie rock, shoegazer and British new wave, the new sound of Two Lane Road is revealed on the Manhattan EP much to the delight of the band and listeners alike. Recording continues in Boulder, Colorado as the band prepares to finish school and take to the road in the fall of 2004 for their first nationwide tour.
