Story of My Life
For over three years, The V Dubs, located in Vista, California and headed by lead singer and guitarist Jordan Harris, have practiced together for innumerable hours, honed their talent in music lessons, and gradually increased their performing skills by playing for weddings, church, and small gigs. Their hard efforts are fueled by a deep love and appreciation for music, guided by the steady care of many, and sustained by the unfailing hand of God in their musical endeavors. Their long-time dream of recording an album finally came to fruition when Jordan and the band began the recording process at Ground Level Sound Studios in January of 2008. After seven months and many hours in the studio, recording, mixing and mastering their music with Alan DiCato guiding the way, the band officially completed the process on August 15, 2008. Their CD, "Story of My Life," is comprised of music primarily written by Jordan, focusing on issues surrounding true life experiences, struggles, joy, pain and hope to which all people can relate. Throughout the recording process, Tanner Harris, bass guitarist, was also restoring his first car, a 1968 Volkswagen Bus. The recording and restoring projects progressed concurrently, and eventually melded into one with the Bus becoming the symbol and name for the band. The members of The V Dubs, Jordan, Tanner, and Breezie Harris, James Moyer, and recently added Andrew Burns are thankful for the opportunity to manifest their musical abilities.
