Persistence of Vision
The band Vital Signs has been together for over a decade, delivering their unique style of music to audiences on the East coast. Their sound combines elements of Jazz, Latin and Funk in way that is truly original. Their second CD release, entitled "Persistence of Vision" is filled with rich melodies and powerful rhythms. All ten tracks make a bold musical statement. No "filler tracks" here. The music is written by multi-instrumentalist, Matthew Wert, who plays Piano, Guitar, Electric Bass, Flute and Percussion on the CD. Also featured are Robert Rice on Drums and Dan Spollen on Guitar. The horn parts are shared by Tim Thompson and Adam Birch on Trumpet along with Stephen Selfridge on Saxophone. Undoubtedly, this is their best recording to date. Hear for yourself the sounds of Vital Signs and you will be a listener for many years.
