When remained-in-country Vietnam vet Sam Wood (Brent Huff) was approached by TV reporter Maryline Kane (Mary Stavin), he knew she wasn't looking for his life story. His instincts were right-as she believed that her father was in the still-operational hellhole POW camp Wood barely escaped from. Learning that the commandant (Werner Pochath) that tortured him was still in charge, he found incentive to go back.
